| The Crashpad Mediation project could help you if you are aged 16 or 17 and are homeless (or threatened with homelessness) as a result of family dispute. You will need to visit your local Housing Needs Officer or a HYHG Information and Advice Worker for referral. |
A Crashpad Host will provide: |
- safe emergency accommodation for up to 3 weeks
- your own room
- breakfast and evening meal
|
| There will be no charge to you for this service. During your stay you will be given the opportunity to discuss your situation with a trained Mediator. If you wish, they can also talk to your family. Mediation is free, impartial and confidential. If you and your family can be helped to sort out your problems, you may be able to return home. Whatever the outcome, Herts Young Homeless Group will help and support you. |
